My Block.

Someone was getting agitated that she couldn’t see out the balcony window due to the heightened amount of snow. Easy solution.. bring in dining room chair, Queen is back in business.. my street is safe again.

Nike x UNDFTD Lunar Force 1

This Friday UNDFTD will debut its newest collaboration with Nike. This time they will release their pack with Nike’s Lunar Force 1 collection. They have a low-top and high-top model slated for release. The low has a white lunar mid-sole with their famous houndstooth graphic all over the upper. The high features a really nice suede and restricts the houndstooth design for the strap and heal strip. I purchased the lows via an early release as I wasn’t certain I would be able to make it to a retailer on the release date. Plus I’m sure there will tons of hype surrounding both of these pairs and make my chances of getting a pair that more difficult.

*UPDATE: These pairs sat on the shelves.. didn’t sell out at all. Shot early..

Both pairs will release this Friday February 28th at UNDFTD chapters, 21 Mercer, Dover Street Market, Concepts and many other fine retailers. Here are some pics I shot of the lows, a lot of nice details.

flashback friday.

Here are some old starter hats from 1990..24 yrs old. My first two actually. Added some personal customization to the bill of my Pistons snapback, I even remember the markers.. all Pilot. I wore this hat forever, at some point it was a daily wear for years. The inner bill is darkened from many sweaty handball games. A lot of great memories.

Saint Alfred x Converse First String Pro Leather

Converse First String has had many interesting, quality collaboration with various independent shops. This time they created this beauty with Chicago’s St. Alfred. The collection featured two colorways, one pair had an upper of grey while its cousin had an upper covered with black. Both pairs showcase premium wool & leather and just have a real nice winter feel to them. They even came with 3 different lace options. As soon as I had seen these, I needed to have one or both. The grey pair was my favorite.
