Those that are close to me, know how much I love a nice dose of Scotch. For years I was a primarily a Gin drinker (Bombay Sapphire only) but would have a glass of scotch here and there.  Not sure if it was me getting older or just developing different drinking habits, but Scotch slowly overtook as my drink of choice.  There is just something really soothing about scotch that I personally feel trumps all other liquors.
