Happy Father’s Day.

IMG_3009

Happy Father’s Day. If any of you know my Dad personally, you know how awesome he is. By far one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He’s inspired, generous, hard-working & calming; everything you want in a Father and as a role model.

He came to this country at 19yrs old, not knowing one single person here. In a short time he got married, had me, finished up college & started up a successful Photography business with no guidance aside from his own intuition. I still marvel at how he managed to juggle all this at a young age with a daily smile on his face.

My Dad is my daily inspiration, no need to celebrate him once a year. If I can become half the person he is, the possibilities would be endless. “See you later alligator..”

sunday funday.

Today was a great day.  Took a lot of pictures, ate some good food, had a couple of drinks and most importantly, got to relax.  Tomorrow is a big day for me, so really needed to have a day like this.  A lot of great pictures to share which I’ll do thru-out this week.  For now, here are some pics from our relaxing Sunday at a Jersey City venue called Porta.

Sapphire & Tonic and some spicy, raspberry concoction who’s name I cannot remember.  It was real good.

The Bill.  Time to go home.

GP’s – Hamilton Park.

We went to GP’s in Jersey City yesterday for dinner.  We have been there before but we were itching for some Italian food; plus the weather was perfect to sit outside & enjoy a meal.  We both had Rigatoni Bolognese as our main course & for appetizer we had some wonderful crab cakes.  Next time I think I’ll make a meal out of the crab cakes alone!
