Nutritional Values.

A few weeks back I worked with a fun nutritionist in the New York area.  She had some great recipes as well as some stylish preps.  Here are a couple of pictures I shot during our shoot.  There is something special and self-satisfying in doing food shoots!  Getting the right angles, using the right hues and capturing the elements… it just feels so right!

GP’s – Hamilton Park.

We went to GP’s in Jersey City yesterday for dinner.  We have been there before but we were itching for some Italian food; plus the weather was perfect to sit outside & enjoy a meal.  We both had Rigatoni Bolognese as our main course & for appetizer we had some wonderful crab cakes.  Next time I think I’ll make a meal out of the crab cakes alone!

Talde Jersey City.

Wifey & I went to Talde last night for the first time in Jersey City.  Layout was real nice, music was pumping & the food was awesome.  I have some more pics to share.. but here is one for the time being.

Welcome To Miami!

So we went to Miami for a couple of days to celebrate our birthdays.  We stayed at the Mondrian which is located on West Ave. in South Beach.  We had gone there last year and really loved the service and the quaintness of the area.  The hotel is beautiful and really makes you feel like you’re on an island.

We came to know one of the managers really well and she took great care of us throughout our stay.  Upon arriving to our room.. we were blessed with some fine champagne and strawberries from our friend.  It was a really nice touch and shows how they value their patrons.  It was a great start to our vacation.

Juvia Treats.

Finally made it to Juvia in South Beach.  We tried to make it last year, but reservations were booked solid.  We actually went there for my birthday which was a nice treat.
